Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. Compression happens in your browser on your device. Only the Pro payment page talks to a server.

How do I compress an image without losing too much quality?

Use JPEG or WebP and lower the quality slider. Around 75 to 85 percent usually looks the same and is much smaller. Resizing to the size you need saves the most.

Can I convert PNG to WebP or JPEG?

Yes. Choose the output format, then download. Transparent areas become white when you convert to JPEG.

Is EXIF metadata removed?

Yes. Images are re-encoded from pixels, so camera data, GPS location and other metadata are not kept.

How many images can I do at once?

Free allows 5 per batch. Pro has no limit, a zip download and a rename pattern.

What does Pro cost?
